🌍📸 The African Site Managers Network (ASMN) proudly launches the 2026 Photography Competition: “Safeguarding Our African Heritage”.
This is your chance to shine a spotlight on the richness, resilience, and uniqueness of African World Heritage Sites. Through your lens, tell the story of our heritage — its values, traditions, and the communities that keep it alive.
🔹 Who can participate?
All individuals 18+ from African countries are welcome.
🔹 What to submit?
1–3 photographs (JPEG, 300 dpi or higher) of an African World Heritage Site, each with a 200-word description (English or French) explaining its significance and connection to the theme.
🔹 Deadline: 1 May 2026, 12 p.m. Paris Time
🏆Winning entries will be showcased in a virtual exhibition and the top three will feature in promotional posters and publications celebrating African heritage.
