Tree planting programs at Kilwa ruins, Tanzania and Mosi-Oa-Tunya /Victoria Falls, Zambia to mitigate climate change

The site managers conduct robust tree planting programs once every quarter to help maintain the integrity of the Property and to contribute to climate change mitigation. For the sites in which historical buildings are located close to the ocean, they have a program of planting mangrove trees in the coastal areas so as to reduce the speed of wave action on the monuments. They do this as a means of maintaining the integrity of the property.
