Heritage education program at Kilwa ruins, Tanzania for conservation awareness

The site managers support and work with heritage conservation clubs in primary and secondary schools, as well as in colleges. They popularize cultural heritage resources through conservation awareness programs as they educate school children, secondary students, and local communities about heritage resources and their role in conservation and heritage protection. They also carry out community sensitization programmes in the communities that live around the world heritage sites.
